A NEW PROJECT

I am a long time drummer that is looking for other musicians to re-up a musical project. I moved to the Rochester area (Greece to be precise) a few years ago, and have been writing and recording my own music and collaborating with others on musical projects for the past few years. 

Recently my live performance jones has started to nip at me again thus I'm looking to jump in the deep end of the gig pool again. In the past, I have started a few really fun projects that revolved around playing Funk, R&B, Soul, and Motown material and always had success playing out as people seem to really enjoy partying and dancing to that style of music.

I have always been a huge fan of these styles of music and really enjoy playing it, especially the funk stuff.   The main musical focus of this project will be playing Funk, R&B, Soul, and Motown music but, of course I am open to playing any music that fits into that box. As the great James Brown once said,

"It's Got To Be Funky" - And I couldn't agree more!

I am looking for any musicians that are interested in playing that type of stuff to start a new project with the goal of playing out. I am looking to find, bass players, guitar players, keyboard players, horn players, singers, etc.  basically anyone who digs this kind of music. It doesn't matter what age you are, or if your male or female, or whatever, as long as your into these styles of music and are willing to start from the top to put something together.

I gained allot of experience over the course of my career booking bands and so I am excited as I know there are gigs out there to be played, and I am confident I can find us gigs to play when the time  comes.  As I am sure all of you know from your own experiences, there are allot of moving parts in starting a project and taking it out to play live, but I love a good musical challenge and I look forward to a new one with all of you. Let's get out and have some fun. 

I am an easy going guy who really loves to collaborate with other musicians no matter what there experience level is and will play with anyone as long as we share a love of the project were working on.  

If you are out there and share my love and passion for these styles of music hit me up, I'd really love to speak to anyone who may be interested.  

JUST AN FYI, the original compositions on this web site ARE NOT a representation of the music I'm looking to do for this project. I mention that because I love ALL styles of music and have played most all styles of music. My original music posted on this website is a collection of many different styles of music, rock, jazz, funk, swing all types of styles. 

When I compose music I don't look to compose a type or style of music, I compose whatever is inside of me that needs to get out at the time I am writing the piece. Thus, on any given day at any given time, when I sit to compose a song I never really know what it is going to be. I let it flow from me and let the song dictate to me what it wishes to be. 

So to avoid on what musical direction this NEW project is to focus on please keep in mind my original music posted on this website are not examples of what this NEW project is to be.  

A SIDE NOTE:

With the above being said, if anyone enjoys any of my compositions (And I hope you do) and have any ideas about my songs and would like to collaborate with me on my originals to continue to mold them, I would love to hear from you.
