Drummer Breeze Music
All tracks written and arranged by myself with the exception of "Eastern Blues Dance" and "Simplicity" that I composed with two musician friends of mine. (See those tracks below for more)
I enjoy many styles of music and I compose many different styles. I never know what will come out when I sit to compose a piece of music. Some days, it's Jazz, some days it's Rock, or Pop, or Blues. I never really set out to write a certain type of music, I just begin to write and whatever comes that day from within me is what I get. It's a process I enjoy though as not planning to compose anything in particular style wise, I'm always surprised at the end result.
All parts were played by myself on keyboards using virtual instruments with the exception of the drums that were played live to the tracks into Pro Tools utilizing a Roland TD-30 kit. There are no loops or "sample sections" on the tracks. Please excuse the tonality of the songs as all tracks are rough mixes, done for "quick reference" after I was done recording all the parts. Hopefully soon I'll find the time to give each track the proper mix they deserve.
For more information on the gear I used to compose and record these tracks as well as other gear for live performance, please visit the gear page via the button below.
Thank you for listening to my music. I hope they make you smile. Drop me a note and let me know your thoughts if you'd like. I'd really love to hear from you all.
Peace,
Breeze
This Track Is Called - "It's Only An Acoustic Thang"
This track was fun to compose and play on.
Enjoy
This Track Is Called - "Peach Tart"
A bit funky but rocks a bit too :)
Enjoy
This Track Is Called - "Word Salad" And YES, there's NO WORDS on it.
One of my favorite all time bass lines is the bass line from the Jackson 5's hit
I want you back. As you can hear I'm sure the "HOOK" parts were inspired by that bass line.
I should have called the track "I DON'T want you back" haha
Enjoy
This track is called "ICE STORM"
There was huge Ice Storm one night where I live and for some reason the sound of the ice hitting the roof rhythmically reminded me of the theme song from the old Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
So, doing what I do, I imagined myself playing with the Tonight's Show big band along side Doc Severinsen and I composed this track.
Big band type of swing thing. Hope you enjoy.
This track is called "Purple Goblin"
It's a jazzy Latin type of thing. I really enjoyed composing this song and playing on it.
This ones called "Carpal Tunnel" Don't ask why.
Sorta a pop type thing that was inspired by some Motown stuff.
Enjoy
The main Bass line to this song written by one of my best friends and a great bass player named Harold Runfola.
Harold used to play this little bass lick every time we got together to rehearse or play live, sorta a warmup thing he did.
It always stuck with me as it's a catchy little line. One day I wrote this song and sent it to Harold to listen to. When he heard it, he said to me "I've been playing that line my whole life"
It was just than that I realized I had been inspired by Harold's bass part (Or ripped it off, sorry Harold hahah)
So here is a song I called "Eastern Blues Dance" hope you Enjoy. Thanks Harold for the bass line.

This track is called "Just a Bite". It's a smooth jazz type of thing. Why? Because everyone needs a little "Elevator Music" sometimes.
Inspired by a guitar lick a friend of mine sent me. More on that below and
thanks Terry for the inspiration.
Another smooth jazz track that was written around a guitar line sent to me by a good friend and great guitar player named Terry Ely. That's Terry announcing the song at the top and playing the lick he wrote.
Terry had written the main guitar lick and sent it to me and I filled in the blanks so to speak. Give it a listen and enjoy.
Thanks Terry.

This track is called "When Miles Cried".
Inspired by a fantasy I had about playing with Miles Davis at some run down old Jazz club in NYC. It's dark and smoky and filled with emotions.
Picture a smoky Jazz club on a rainy night filled with an audience of people that came in from the cold rain out side to get warm and have a cocktail.
A Funny story about this track.
When I played this track for my great friend and drumming mentor
Steve Luongo, he said to me "I know why Miles cried" so I asked why and Steve replied, "Caused you mixed his trumpet to low" haha, Yeah, I did.
Thanks Maj for the always truthful insight. You can read more about the amazing career of Steve Luongo by visiting his Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/drumcrusher/

Here is another "Big Band" track I wrote cause I was feeling it that day.
It really needs to be mixed much better but I haven't got back around to this yet to do so. I'm sure I will this millennium some time.
I was playing around with different compressor plugins one day and needed a track to work with so this track was born.
Its just a little throw away rock thing but it was fun to work on at the time. I'm sure I'll rework it at some point and make something better out of it but for now, here it is as it stands..
